Each earring contains (17) marquise shaped amethysts averaging approximately 6 x 4 mm, for a total of (34) amethysts and an approximate total weight of 9.86 carats. Each earring also contains (3) approximately 1 mm round diamonds, for a total of (6) diamonds with an approximate total weight of .06 carats. The gemstones are arranged in a descending pattern resembling bunches of grapes, prong-set into handmade settings of 14K yellow gold, with leaf and curling vine motifs at the top.
